How To Have A Healthy Glow During The Winter
No matter the time of year or season, my skin is always extra dry and extra ashy lol. I’m always looking for a solution other than vaseline that will heal my skin from the constant dehydration. I recently decided to try something different and jump on the natural essential oils wave. I’ve always heard how great they are for your skin and it has medicinal and health benefits so I decided to try it out.
I discovered how much of a great addition they are to my everyday beauty routine and depending on the type of oil, it’s great for reducing anxiety, creating calmness and a great combo to use while meditating. For the ones who are super concerned with unsafe chemicals or toxins, this is also a great alternative because of the all natural products.
I’ve been consistently using it on my skin care and using it as a primer for my beauty routine and I can definitely say I can see a difference when I use it and when I don’t. So far it has evened out my complexion and when I don’t wear makeup I have a natural glow.
Since I’m a low maintence type of girl I want a beauty routine thats quick, easy and effective. Below is a list of my fav brands so far that produce really great essential oils.
If you are more of a DIYer I’ve also attached a recipe to create your very own Lavendar essential oil. Let me know if you have any essential oil favs in the comment section below and I’ll check em out!
Decleor is great for most skin types especially for extremely dehyrdated or dry skin. They have specific products that cater to each need. Just go to their site and click on your problem area and they will recommend the best products for you. My personal favs are the Creme Legere Hydratante 24H, Aromessence Neroli and Moisturising Serum. If you don’t have dry skin I would not recommend these products because they leave you more on the oily side. I love their oil based products because it leaves me with a natural glow
True moringa - https://truemoringa.com/
I use the TRUE MORINGA LAVENDER body OIL for my body specifically after I get out of the shower or when I want to decrease any stress and anxiety. This lavender based oil reduces redness, and cures damaged and dry skin. I also use their body oil when I’m getting ready to meditate or If I want to create a sense of calmness.
Arya Essentials - https://aryaessentials.com/
BOTANICAL CLEANSER Is a gentle cleanser mixed with Tumeric that doesn’t leave your skin feeling dry or gasping for a moisturizer. It’s a great pair to their PURIFYING TONER. For me personally, I would only use the combo in the morning because I need deeper cleanser for night.
I’ve tried their Super 7 Elixir Face Serum and it goes on great and leaves your skin super smooth. Although I'm a fan of the product, I’m not that invested to spend $200+. However, if you have the coins to spend, try their face serum and use it as a primer before putting on your makeup. They also have tons of other products to check out as well.
